Job Summary
Support the execution of SBC’s sustainability strategy by managing data, projects, and community initiatives that advance environmental and social impact.
Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Sustainability Mainstreaming: Communication, internalization, and implementation of SBC’s
sustainability strategy and policies at plant/region level.
ESG Reporting & Data Tracking: Prepares monthly and quarterly ESG reports, track initiatives
(e.g., water stewardship, circular economy), and ensure data accuracy and audit readiness.
Community & Stakeholder Engagement Conducts needs assessments, engage host
communities, coordinate CSIs and manage communication with sustainability related
regulators, NGOs, and industry bodies.
Sustainability Stewardship/ Implementation Champion sustainability week projects, UN
observances strategic to the business, EPR etc.
Environmental & Social gap audits: Undertakes monthly physical assessment of units on E&S
eg supplier local content, labour practices, water & energy usage, waste etc and launches
initiatives to close gaps. Also provides technical supports for certifications.
Compliance & Environmental Management: Maintains Environmental regulatory register,
monitor compliance with environmental regulations and frameworks (ISO 14001, NESREA,
EPAs). Manage environmental metrics including GHG, water efficiency, waste segregation,
and circular economy practices.
Capacity Building Deliver sustainability training and collaborate with internal departments
(Operations, P&C, OHS, Finance etc) to embed global best practices across regions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
3–5 years’ experience in implementation of sustainability and CSR.
Hands on experience in GHG accounting and Sustainability Reporting.
Strong analytical and data management skills.
Familiarity with sustainability standards, frameworks and regulations.
Passion for community development and climate action.
