Job Summary

To ensure the timely availability of raw and packaging materials required for uninterrupted production by effectively managing material requirements, inventory levels, replenishment, and material movements across manufacturing locations.

Job Details

  • Execute monthly and periodic Material Requirement Planning (MRP) for assigned materials, including Crowns, Pallets, Lays, Sugar, Shrink & Stretch. 
  • Monitor material availability and consumption across locations to prevent shortages and production disruptions. 
  • Maintain optimal Days of Inventory (DOI) and manage inventory within approved minimum, maximum, safety stock, and reorder levels. 
  • Identify and minimize excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory. 
  • Coordinate with third-party partners, including Imperial Beverage Limited and Green Eagles, to ensure timely production and delivery of required materials. 
  • Create and monitor SAP Stock Transport Orders (STOs) for inter-regional material movements and ensure transaction accuracy. 
  • Prepare and submit timely RAWMA and material inventory reports to support planning and management decisions. 
  • Coordinate with Logistics to secure trucks and ensure timely loading and movement of materials to required locations. 
  • Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Logistics, Warehousing, and other stakeholders to resolve material supply constraints. 
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve material availability, inventory efficiency, planning accuracy, and supply chain performance. 

Requirements

  • BSc/HND in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 2 – 3 years of relevant experience in Materials Planning, Supply Chain planning, inventory management.
  • Experience in an FMCG/manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing raw and packaging materials in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with strong skills in data analysis.
