- Planning and executing merchandising strategies to optimize product assortments and maximize sales and profitability.
- Analysing market trends, customer preferences, and sales data to make informed decisions on product selection, pricing, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance on merchandising new Planogram and POSM.
- Training and Development for Merchandisers every Quarter across all regions.
- Create item and category planning; evaluate assortments and update as needed.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting for upper management.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and sales, to align merchandising strategies with overall business objectives.
- Overseeing product presentation and visual merchandising to create compelling and attractive displays that enhance the overall shopping experience.
- Monitoring competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead in the market and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Any other task as assigned by management.
Requirements
- BSc / HND in Business Administration, Marketing course, or any relevant field.
- 4 years+ experience in merchandising management.
- Knowledge of market trends and principles.
- Membership of relevant professional bodies.
- Excellent leadership/coaching skill
- Good communication skills
- Negotiation skill
- Goal oriented and target driven.
