Job Summary

Executes manufacturing strategy and leads daily Production operations (managing production planning, production execution, capability development, asset first level maintenance as well as sustainability of projects required for improvements), to ensure that present and future demand is met in a timely and qualitative manner. Assures proper human resources and assets management, in compliance with environmental and safety law requirements and according to SBC and PI quality guidelines. Owns total production management from production planning to execution and transfer to warehouse.

Job Details

 Is responsible for all production activities result with effective SBC Quality
Systems, ISO, HACCP and GMP programs, and meet safety and other
applicable legislation requirements, focus to be achieving a PASS in all
relevant plant audits and sustain improvements.
 Ensures full implementation of health & safety procedures
 Effectively applies business performance review on daily, Weekly and
monthly management routine using all available tools - i.e. Management
routine and input from Navision and SAP, participates in plant sales &
operations meetings and signs off on weekly production plan
 - Runs daily plant performance review with all sectional production heads
(Line Managers, Asset Care Managers, Quality Assurance Manager, and
Safety Manager).
 Is fully aware and Responsible for execution of IMCR / Non-conformance
management routines and procedures
 Responsible for productivity improvement and stretchy targets for cost
efficiency. Ensures group lean manufacturing initiatives (Structured Problem
Solving, Improvement memo system) are executed with all necessary
resources in place
 Responsible for delivery of all KPIs in production.
 Guarantees the product availability through the proper production
organization (in terms of efficiency and effectiveness) and resources
management according to the production plans
 Monitor raw and packaging material supplier management in corporation with
supply chain and Quality team
 Define and implements no run policies in alignment with planning and supply
chain department.
 As part of daily routines, reviews downtime postings for proper classification
and uses the details to focus on top bottlenecks to operation and leverages
focused improvement approach to solve the operational challenges.

Prepares, presents and interprets Production KPI's, makes recommendations
which result in increased productivity and efficiency; reduces cost and
improves customer satisfaction while following production plans.
 Able to cascade Productivity KPI’s to the team and support them achieve
them.
 Ensures that investments in production are well prioritized, execution
optimized with minimum interruption in production operations and smooth

Requirements

 A minimum of Bachelor of Engineering Degree
(B.Eng.) or HND in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
 Minimum of 8– 10 years relevant hands-on FMCG
operation and maintenance experience.
 At least 3 years’ experience in a beverage bottling
company in a managerial capacity.
 Experienced in budgeting and people management
 Knowledge of bottling operations: Planning,
Manufacturing, Quality, Environment, Engineering,
Health and Safety
 Operational planning expertise/experience
 Understanding of financial impact of decisions
 Ability to select and assess first-line managers
 Coaching direct reports and mentoring others
 Ability to translate functional strategy into
unit/section’s plan
 Ability to lead and manage change setting standards
for managing performance.
 Ability to build and leverage relationships to improve
results
 Open-minded and willing to experiment and try new
things Ability to disseminate and enforce safety, health
& environment policy and improvement initiatives.
